No peaNUTS!

So Bailey had her peanut test today to see if she is in fact allergic to peanuts. Her doctor was hopeful, that because the first test showed only a mild allergy that she may have grown out of it. Unfortunatly that is not the case, now Bailey's is HIGHLY allergic to peanuts. The results came back so quickly and the reaction was very scary, the hives that showed up were the size of a small orange. Bailey was very brave, but very uncomfortable. So the nurse gave her a some Benedryl, a lollipop, and a ice pack, while they observed her for 30 minutes.

Caleb could not stand to see his big sister, crying and in pain, so he climbed up on the table and helped her, He would lay down with her awhile, or help me blow on sissy's back,however, the job he did best was holding the ice pack on her back. And would sing her songs.

Bailey is a trooper, she may never have a peanut butter sandwich, but she said today that she is okay with that. Our friend Jocelyn told her that this allergy is something special about Bailey, and that seemed to help. When calling family or telling her friends she has repeated those words, that and "Joshi told me peanut butter is gross"
